Under the Minnesota Constitution and Supporting Statutes, churches, church property, schools, rectories, convents, and cemeteries are exempt from property taxes. There is no exemption from assessments for local improvements (except for cemeteries). Use these resources to assist in filing for a property tax exemption by February 1, 2025.
