Open Enrollment is being extended through Friday, November 8

The last couple of days before the benefit open enrollment ends are typically the busiest in terms of the volume of employees in the system. We are currently hearing that some of these employees are experiencing confusion in navigating through the enrollment process due to an enrollment software update. The confusion is most often occurring when it comes to electing the Flexible Spending Account (FSA).
To resolve this situation, open enrollment is extended through tomorrow, Friday, November 8. Additionally, we are highlighting the importance of carefully completing each step in the enrollment process to ensure that everyone gets enrolled in the benefits they select. Whether you are changing your benefits or leaving them as is you need to go through each step of the process in the following order:
  1. Company paid benefits
  2. Core benefits
  3. Additional benefits
At the end of step 3, check the box “I have reviewed the information above,” click on Confirm your Benefits and print out your Benefit Detail Report. You will only see this option if all items in the above three steps have been completed.
If you are already enrolled in the medical plan or wish to enroll, you will find the FSA listing under the Core benefits section.
Please see this document for additional detailed information on to navigate the open enrollment system.
