Session One: Organizational Initiatives & Updates

Session One included a review by Bill Lentsch, Chief Operating Officer, who highlighted Archdiocesan Catholic Center goals and provided a look ahead at what is coming for Mission Support.ย  Joe Kueppers, Chancellor for Civil Affairs, presented on the Minnesota Paid Leave Ace.ย  Tom Mertens, Chief Financial Officer, provided an annual update on financial matters, followed by a review and update from Emmaus Partners.

Session Two: Pastoral Letter Implementation Update

Session Two focused on strategic updates related to the pastoral letter. The session began with a reflection on the Synod and its many interconnected efforts to advance the vision. Laura Haraldson, Associate Director of Synod Implementation and Pastoral Accompaniment, spoke on how the pastoral letter impacts parish life, followed by updates from the Office of Mission Advancement on the Catholic Services Appeal and the Lord, Renew Your Church campaign. Melanie Sandoval, Database and Analytics Manager, demonstrated the campaign dashboard, and Mary Breault, Standards Program Manager, guided parishes on recording campaign revenue and expenses. Finally, Father Joseph Bambenek, Associate Director of the Office of Renewal of Structures, shared progress from the Renewal Working Group and its charter.

Session Three: AMBP, General Insurance, Pension, Medicare Services & 403(b) Updates

During Session Three, attendees heard from APBA representatives, consultants, and plan administrators who delivered the annual review of key benefit programs. Participants received performance updates, learned about important changes, and were provided with resources regarding the AMBP benefit plan, general insurance coverage, pension program, new Medicare service options, and 403(b) retirement plans.

Session Four: Whatโ€™s New?

Session Four featured presentations from subject-matter specialists on artificial intelligence, Vatican Unveiled, the One Big Beautiful Bill Act (OBBBA), and a philanthropic toolkit offered by the Office of Mission Advancement in collaboration with the Catholic Community Foundation.
