Session One: Organizational Initiatives & Updates

Session One will include a review by Bill Lentsch of organizational initiatives at the ACC and a glimpse of what is ahead. Joe Kueppers will provide an update on current matters, such as parish and political activities. Tom Mertens will lead us with an annual update on financial matters followed by a review and update of the Strategic Parish Financial Report (SPFR) and success stories already gleaned since its rollout by the recently renamed and rebranded, Emmaus Partners, formerly known as Catholic Finance Corporation and PartnersEdge.

Session Two: Pastoral Letter and the Call “To go…”

Session Two will provide attendees with initiative updates formed through the Archbishop’s pastoral letter and the call to action “To go…”  Marci Franzen and Jean Houghton from the Office of Mission Advancement will open the session with updates on the Catholic Service Appeal and “Lord, Renew Your Church Capital Campaign.”  Deacon Joseph Michalak will help Business Administrators and other parish staff to better understand year two. Father Joseph Bambenek will review the efforts of the Renewal Working Group (RWG) and its charter. Rounding out the day, Ryan Rehkamp, Parish Director will review the excellent work coming out of the Archbishop’s Strategic Implementation Council (ASIC).

Session Three: AMBP, General Insurance, Pension Plans & 403(b) Update

Session Three you will hear from APBA representatives, consultants, and plan administrator to provide attendees with an annual overview of program performance, updates, and resources regarding the AMBP benefit plan, General Insurance, Pension and 403(b) Plans.

Session Four:  What’s New?

Wednesday, September 25, 2024

Session Four will provide insight from specialists covering cyber security, artificial intelligence, Mission Support as a partner in your ministry, communications in an election year, a new perspective towards giving by the Office of Mission Advancement and Catholic Community Foundation and hear from a colleague from the Archdiocese of Atlanta on best practices for selecting an online payment solution vendor. The conference will end with a wrap-up from the Chief Financial Officer, Tom Mertens.
