Catholic school faculty receive notices of appointment that inform them of their assignment for the following academic year. A notice of appointment will be provided by the Head of School to Catholic school faculty and will be signed by the pastor and the Head of School. If a Catholic school does not intend to provide a member of its faculty with a notice of appointment because the school does not plan to renew employment, the Head of School will meet with the faculty member before distributing any notices of appointment and provide an explanation of the decision.
