In the Aug. 20 edition, we accompany the Annunciation community in Minneapolis as they walk in “the way of peace” one year after the tragic Aug. 27, 2025, shooting during an all-school Mass. And with a special emphasis on faith-after-55, The Catholic Spirit visits with residents of the St. Therese of Corcoran senior living facility about their creation of a wooden monstrance for their community, while a lay initiative in the archdiocese helps seniors connect to the sacraments.
