To better describe what the office does and to set it up for what it will do in the future, as of May 16, the Office of Synod Evangelization name is changing to the Office of Discipleship and Evangelization.
This office advances the archbishop’s pastoral vision that all will encounter the living Lord Jesus and answer His call to “be my witnesses” by living and proclaiming the Gospel in today’s world. The office coordinates the implementation of that vision and the formation of missionary disciples, including current and future leaders, to carry out that vision.
