Minnesota Paid Leave

If a location already participates in Minnesota Unemployment Insurance (MN UI), they do not need to do anything at this point.

If a location does not participate in MN UI:

  1. They need to create a Paid Leave account with MN UI.
  2. Q3 2024 reporting is due 10/31/2024.  Locations will need to report their gross wages by employee to MN UI.  They can manually report this data to MN UI or create a report in Paycor using the instructions provided in the 10/22 Archdiocesan Update.
  3. Paycor quarterly reporting set up:  At this time, the Archdiocese is working with Paycor to set up the new tax codes and quarterly filing for all locations at a global level.  If you have begun this process with Paycor already, please pause until more information is available.  The details of this project are being worked through and pricing negotiated.  This project should include addition of the new tax codes for all locations, application of the tax codes to all employee profiles in Paycor, along with adjustments for 4th quarter and the related filing for Q4 2024.

Please remember that we are all working through this together in real time and information is being provided as it becomes available.
