The interface to obtain background information from the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension (BCA) is “Temporarily Down for Maintenance” and has been for a several days. This interface is how state-wide background information is accessed. Our background check vendor, The McDowell Agency, is actively pursuing the issue with BCA personnel. At this time, we do not have an expected resolution date.
As summer is a busy ‘hiring’ season, please allow extra time for receiving background information for candidates / volunteers / new hires.
