Technology, politics, and grants are changing rapidly. Heating and cooling plants and structures are aging in many of our buildings. Our buildings are often not up to date without technical and management support. Catholic Teaching also calls us to be wise stewards of our planet, our populations, and our financial resources. This is why the Laudato Si’ Movement Chapter Sustainability Working Group has been utilizing this Energy Management Plan for the past couple of years and working with parishes on energy management issues. This is an offer of service for parishes and Catholic institutions who want some extra help and discernment. This chapter of the Laudato Si’ Movement is made of a group of volunteers and offerings of assistance are based upon the availability of those volunteers.
If you have additional questions or are interested in extra support or connecting with the sustainability working group, please contact Adam Fitzpatrick, Social Mission Outreach Coordinator for the Center for Mission, at fitzpatricka@archspm.org for more information.
