I recently announced Mary Ellen Moe’s plan to resign from her role as director of human resources for the Archdiocese. Mary Ellen had graciously offered to remain onboard until her replacement has been hired. I want to take this opportunity to, once again, thank Mary Ellen for her steadfast commitment to our church and the excellent work she has delivered over the past 10+ years. I wish Mary Ellen great joy and success as she moves on from the Archdiocese. It is well deserved.
I am pleased to announce that on Monday, May 5, Maria Hultman joined the Archdiocese as chief human resources officer. Maria comes to us from Wells Fargo Bank where she spent the past 23+ years in various HR roles, many at the senior leader level. Maria has a demonstrated expertise in the areas of HR systems, project management, culture building practices, and service delivery. She will be a wonderful addition to our team.
In addition to her professional career at Wells Fargo Bank, Maria remains very active in our local church. She is a current member of the Pastoral Council at All Saints Catholic Church in Lakeville and is a graduate of the Archbishop Flynn Catechetical Institute at The Saint Paul Seminary.
Maria holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Minnesota and a Human Resources Management Certificate from Cardinal Stritch University. Next month, she expects to complete her Master’s in Pastoral Leadership degree from the University of St. Thomas School of Divinity.
