Important Update: St. Paul Discipleship Formation Day
The St. Paul Discipleship Formation Day (SPDFD), tentatively scheduled for September 2023, will not be held this year to focus our resources and the attention of our parish and school staff and volunteers on the Small Group Leader Formation Series.
This 7-week series, to be offered in every parish, is a key piece of implementing the Year 1 Synod Priority, “Create or grow a small group ministry at every parish that fosters personal relationships, builds community and provides formation to help parishioners grow as joyful missionary disciples of Christ.” Archbishop Hebda hopes that small groups will become part of the very fabric of the life of each parish—and the archdiocese at large, and this formation series is a key step in that movement.
The Synod has the potential to transform our Archdiocese if we align our resources and prayers by fulfilling each of the Synod Priorities.
