At the Jan. 27 Catholic Services Appeal (CSA) kick-off, Bishop Izen shared key tips on leading a successful in-pew weekend.
- Be positive – parishioners want to see their pastor excited about the CSA. These great ministries need our support!
- Supporting the CSA is living the Gospel – helping the poor, visiting the sick or prisoners, leading students in our faith – tie the CSA to the Sunday Gospel
- Use the tools – show the video during Mass, walk parishioners through filling out the donation card and encourage the use of the QR codes
