This is a workshop for pastors and their parish teams to come together for key content and experiential practice in furthering your development for a healthy team. Facilitated practicums will provide an opportunity to integrate the learning. In the morning, we will examine “The Six Types of Working Genius” as an impactful tool for self-knowledge and team effectiveness. The afternoon will explore how to develop a culture for engaging the power of conflict to achieve more energized buy in regarding mission and cohesion as a team. The parish mission depends on the health of the team. This is about putting the health of your team first. Pastors bring at least 3 and up to 6 members of your team (including the pastor). If you don’t have a formal leadership team, bring key people you depend on to help make decisions about the parish. This could include staff and/or volunteers.
NOTE: Part of the day’s discussions will center on “The Six Types of Working Genius” — an assessment tool meant to identify one’s greatest strengths at work. Please take the Six Types of Working Genius Assessment and bring the report emailed to you upon completion on August 6.
