How to Remain in Christ Amid Suffering and Evil

Fr. Vander Ploeg will provide direction on how to be with the Lord amid the suffering when confronted with evil in a fallen world. More than one of the Doctors of the Church, Saint Francis De Sales and Saint Teresa of Avila, teach that we should never lose interior peace of heart and let nothing disturb us. How is this possible in a fallen world where there is evil? There is not only evil that we are aware of but evil that at times confronts us directly. In two talks we will look at how to maintain peace of heart in a fallen world and how we can fight against evil without losing the peace of heart of which the saints speak and give witness in their lives.
