Would it be helpful for your parish or school staff to have more information and training on how to handle situations safely and compassionately involving people having a mental health crisis? The Archdiocese of Saint Paul and Minneapolis Security Mangers Information Group (SMIG) is hosting the Minnesota Crisis Intervention Team (CIT). CIT will be offering a training on Mental Health Awareness that will provide attendees with a broad overview of mental illness, de-escalation techniques and resources.
