This event is free for all and registration is not necessary unless you are interested in a free copy of Vicki’s book.
Free copies of Vicki’s book will be available to the first 20 ALM members to register for the event. Books will also be available for purchase at a discount price of $17.

Read Vicki’s Preview of her PresentationI wrote the book Participation of the Heart to help all Catholics better appreciate the meaning of the Mass as a whole and to understand background on the parts of the Mass because I have learned that when people know more about the Mass, they can participate on a deeper level. The book can also help the parish musician/liturgist who prepares the Mass for the people, but also must prepare the people for the Mass. The liturgy is first an act of worship, but it is also a school of discipleship. I hope to share with participants how this book can be used to make connections with daily life and to grow in faith as part of our lifelong learning about God. I hope it will help people develop an increased engagement in the Mass and a deeper relationship with God. We will use examples from the Mass to illustrate how this process can work for everyone.
